David Ortega Pitarch (born 20 July 1979 in Castellón de la Plana, Castellón) is a freestyle and backstroke swimmer from Spain, who competed for his native country at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Prior to that event he won the 100 m backstroke at the 2000 European Aquatics Championships in Helsinki, Finland.
